At last! An answer to some of the world’s biggest recycling mysteries!

This hardcore recycling guide is from Confessions of a Closet Environmentalist, a blog all about the attempts of a couple of environmentally minded students who are trying to live a more sustainable lifestyle on a student budget.

The blog’s author is an environmental engineer in training who has an “unhealthy obsession with trash” - check out her other posts on recycling to see what I mean. Lots of useful links in there too, which is nice.

The post comes with a warning and an explanation for the reason that lots of local councils don’t tell you very much about what you can and can’t recycle. I was in Germany recently where everything gets recycled and have often wondered why my local recycling service don’t take away my plastic bottles. I’ll investigate further and report back when I learn more.
